Dear Parents/Carers,

Change to school lunchtime for GCSE examinations

GCSE examinations are scheduled to start on Monday 14th May.  As in previous years, we have to move the school lunchtime forward by one hour at this time so that the start of an afternoon examination and lunchtime does not clash.  This means that from 14th May until the end of the summer term, our lunchtime will run from 12.10pm to 12.55pm.

If your child goes home for lunch this will obviously mean that you can expect them to arrive home one hour earlier and come back to school ready for a 12.55pm start.  If this change means your child can no longer go home at lunchtime, please let us know and they will be welcome to stay and buy food from our canteen or eat their own packed lunch.
