Northern are working with a number of schools on their network to provide an under 16 annual season ticket with savings of up to 50%. Every parent worries about getting the correct fare together every morning. They have concerns about their child losing the money or spending it on something else and being left short for the journey home. The season ticket carries no restrictions, which means that your child can travel worry free during evenings and weekend too.
Students over 16 need to purchase a National Rail 16-17 Saver Railcard for offers and greater discounts and more options.
Students 16 or over also have the option of purchasing a 16-25 railcard for 1/3 (one third) off rail travel, which can be renewed up to the day before their 26th birthday.
