Our CEIAG programme helps students to learn to make decisions and manage transitions as learners and workers. As we develop career awareness and broaden horizons, we are supporting them in making informed decisions about life after Burscough. It is essential that the school contributes in preparing young people for the opportunities, responsibilities, and experience of adult life, as evidence suggests improved Careers education is linked to higher achievement at GCSE. All students who attend Burscough Priory Academy will be exposed to the knowledge and skills they need to make informed choices and achieve economic wellbeing in later life.

Our careers programme meets the eight government-set ‘Gatsby Benchmarks’ in every area. Here’s what that looks like here at Burscough Priory.

There will be a wide range of careers opportunities, events, assemblies, drop ins etc. for all students throughout the academic year. We will keep parents updated about these.
