Year 11 “Brown Envelope” Day 2017

Today, Year 11 students received their exam results from their recent mock exams and a separate sheet suggesting what grade they will get in the summer exams as long as they;

– Attend all lessons,

– Work hard in class,

– Complete all homework tasks,

– Come to intervention or revision sessions,

– Revise hard at home between now and the summer.

They are not guaranteed these grades, which will depend on the five targets above being met. Extra commitment and effort will improve these grades still further.

Shortly, parents will receive this information in a report from school and we hope this will be used as the basis to discuss progress with teachers at the scheduled Year 11 parents’ evening in January. In the last week of school before Christmas, students should use the exam percentage scores together with their papers to plan out how to improve the areas where they have scored less well.
