Year 8 Sports Hall Athletics November 2018

On Tuesday 20th November, Burscough Priory Academy took part in an exciting night of sports hall athletics at St Bede’s Catholic High School. All 7 West Lancashire schools competed in the Year 8 event which generated an electric atmosphere all evening. Our pupils took part in a number of track and field events which included: standing triple jump; 8 lap paarlauf; 4 x 1 obstacle relay; individual 6 lap race; 4 x 2 lap relay and the shot. The final placings on the night for both the boys and the girls was a commendable 5th place, with the girls missing out on 4th position by just one point. Congratulations to all those that took part!

A special mention also goes to the Year 10 Sports Leaders who helped in officiating the event- thanks and well done Lucy and Ellie!
