District Cross Country November 2018

Burscough Priory Academy took part in the district cross country event at Tarleton Academy on Wednesday 14th November. The team achieved some amazing results both collectively and individually. The top 8 finishers in each age category will go on to represent West Lancashire schools at the Lancashire Schools Cross Country Championships. All pupils performed superbly and were a credit to the school.

The following pupils achieved a top 8 finish in their age groups:

• Year 7 Girls - Amy English 7th
• Year 7 Boys - James Gardner 4th
• Year 8/9 Girls - Gabby Hodson 1st, Kate Sutcliffe 3rd, Alicia Woods 5th, Isobel Anderson 7th, Zara Borland 8th
• Year 8/9 Boys - Joe Bardon 2nd, Joe Wilson 4th
• Year 10/11 Girls - Olivia Borland, Emily Warren 4th
• Year 10/11 Boys - Oliver Sutcliffe, Archie Lawton 8th

A special mention goes to the Year 8/9 Girls team with every pupil achieving a qualification
