Year 8 Handball Competition November 2018

On Tuesday 13th November 2018, our Year 8 handball team competed in the district handball competition at Lathom High School. They showed great skill and determination in what can only be described as a real nail biter! After beating St Bede’s in the first round, then losing to Lathom in the second, the final result came down to points scored! Both us and Lathom had won the same number of games and even had the same points difference but we managed to pip them to the post on the number of points scored throughout the tournament, finishing in 1st place. We want to to wish a massive well done to the whole team, we are so proud of you! The pupils involved in the team were; Rachel, Grace, Eve, Rachael, Charlotte, Rachel, Grace, Libby, Freya, Erin, Freya, Ruby and Alicia.
