West Lancs District Swimming Gala February 2022

Our school swimming team were amazing at the West Lancs District Swimming Gala!

We had some fantastic individual performances with one student breaking a record that had been in place since 1998! Overall, the Y8/9 boys came first, with the Year 10/11 boys in second place.

The team results were as follows:

• Y7 girls team :4^th place
• Y7 boys team: 5^th place
• Y8/9 girls team: 3^rd place
• Y8/9 boys team: 1^st place
• Y10/11 girls team: 3^rd place
• Y10/11 boys team: 2^nd place

We also had some fantastic individual performances and here are the results:

• Zara came 1^st in the Y10/11 girls 25m backstroke
• James came 3^rd in the Y10/11 boys 25m backstroke
• Sam came 1^st in the Y10/11 boys 25m butterfly
• Grace came 3^rd in the Y8/9 girls 25m backstroke
• Lauren came 3^rd in the Y8/9 girls 25m butterfly
• Lily came came 3^rd in the Y10/11 girls 25m freestyle
• Marbel came 2^nd in the Y7 girls 25m backstroke
• Evie came 3^rd in the Y8/9 girls 25m freestyle
• Jack came 3^rd in the Y8/9 girls 25m freestyle.
• Joe came 1^st in the Y10/11 boys 25m freestyle breaking a record that had been in place since 1998! Massive well done to you, Joe!
