At St John’s we work hard aim high and are good friends to each other. Our whole school is a happy place where learning together is fun! St John’s CE Primary School is a very special place and all the staff and children enjoy coming here to learn. We are lucky to have a large, bright, airy hall surrounded by seven single-age classrooms and up to date IT resources. We have a team of enthusiastic and highly qualified teachers and support staff all eager to help every child reach their potential; reflecting our motto-‘Together we Learn’.

In our school we place great emphasis on respect for ourselves and for others – in all aspects of life. We may only be a small school but we have plenty of enthusiasm and commitment to caring & learning together. This is a small, friendly ‘family’ school with a tradition of small class sizes. We learn together within well-established codes of behaviour and are very proud of our pupils and all their achievements. Lathom Park CE School is a small rural church school that serves the local and wider community. We accept children from as far away as Southport, Newburgh and Skelmersdale. Some of our children are from the immediate locality, but we have many children from farther afield. Our aim is to fulfil a valuable role in the local community engendering a strong community spirit. The school is in a tranquil rural setting, surrounded by farmland. It is a happy and caring school, where the children and staff work hard and where there is a good understanding between staff and children.
