Swimming Gala February 2020

On Thursday 27 February 2020, BPA students spent the evening at the pool at Wigan Life Centre. 24 students took part across all year groups, with four boys and four girls in each team. Every participant took part in one individual event and two relays (freestyle and individual medley). The atmosphere and support from the stands and side of the pool was fantastic throughout the night! There were some amazing performances, with students regularly finishing on the podium from the first event to last. As the night went on, the gala became more and more exciting as we realised BPA had a chance of winning. The loudest cheer of the night was reserved for the results as the Girls finished first - a massive achievement for the team. The boys can also be proud as they finished fourth but with very little difference in points between the schools in front. Thanks again to all parents who came to support and the amazing students that took part.  Well done!
